Our Story

Traveling throughout Europe, Macy visited many vineyards flourished by rain and sweetened by the sun that grew the richest grapes and created the finest wines. It was there when she discovered not only her love of wine but also learned about the taste profile of many women she socialized and traveled with.

She discovered how wine became a staple of every social and emotional journey and a drink of passion, fit for any occasion. As a Dentist, she admired how wine bonded the body, soul and mind.

Just like traveling, the wine gave a sense of freedom; a spirit of discovery and was an adventure in the bottle waiting to be enjoyed. Living in the unique climate of California, Macy thought what if she could create wines with unique stories to bond all travelers and those yearning for freedom, adventure and discovery together even if they never set foot in California.

Her extensive search led her to a multi-award-winning, European-trained viticulturist and winemaker to bring her dream to reality. She would soon be married to Mike and cute Nik was to be born. It was Nik’s keen interest in Pegasus toys as she was growing up that actually inspired the name Nik Pegasus, and created a profile of distinct red wines to celebrate her happy ending in life in the golden climate of Paso Robles, California, and its infinite stories. A true adventure was to be discovered.

Feeling the demand among wine lovers, we set out on our journey to bring to their palate a complex and exotic texture never felt before. With their layered flavors and taste supremacy, Nik Pegasus wines could have an unprecedented appeal to an oenophile’s mastered taste. We also strive to offer perfectly balanced wines reflecting the true characteristics of the terroir by carefully selecting the best varietals from premium vineyards in Canada and the USA. Our goal is to offer access to premium wine for all wine lovers who appreciate the value of unique and distinct brands. We aim to build a strategic partnership not only with large distributors, but also with boutique wine merchants in the hospitality sector.

Our Winemaking Philosophy

The underlying tenet at Nik Pegasus is that it is impossible to have loyal customer-friends without being loyal to the roots. Therefore, Nik Pegasus wines are crafted to express their fine character at its best while staying true to their origins in the meantime. They just exude a loyalty to the terroir they are rooted in.
